A working life built around making things work.
I have spent decades helping people and businesses turn complicated work into something practical. My background crosses bookkeeping, construction job costing, office management, printing, sales, writing, publishing, photography, and problem-solving.
I began in the printing trade in San Francisco and built On The Mark around an old-fashioned promise: understand the job, tell the truth, and deliver what was promised. Bookkeeping added another kind of structure—clean records, useful numbers, and systems people can actually follow.
